Jason Bradley, CEO

Jason Bradley, a passionate advocate for renewable energy and regenerative practices, hails from Alberta, Canada as a 5th generation resident of the province. With a strong foundation in primary agricultural production, education, applied research, and ag tech innovation, Jason has been instrumental in bridging the gap between solar technology and responsible land use.

Jason’s career began in the Canadian technology sector at Nortel Networks. Following that, Jason spent 20 years as the ranch manager at Red Deer River Ranches, a 50,000 acre 350 head cow/calf operation west of Sundre, Alberta. This pair of experiences proved to Jason the immense potential for technology to help create better food.

Subsequent to that, Jason served for several years as the Director of Smart Agriculture and Farm Manager at the Olds College Smart Farm, a dynamic applied research, demonstration, and education facility. His mission was to integrate applied research and academic teaching into the farm’s enterprise-scale crop and livestock operations. Under his leadership, the Smart Farm became a hub for demonstrating innovative practices and leading-edge agriculture production technologies.

Today, Jason Bradley champions regenerative agriculture principles. He understands that renewable energy and regenerative food production can coexist harmoniously. Inspired by this vision, Jason co-founded Sun Cycle Farms.

Jason Bradley’s work exemplifies his dedication to integrating solar energy with regenerative practices, ensuring increased profitability for farmers, ranchers, and energy companies, in addition to improved functional soil health, and enhanced nutrient food density.
